Complete beginner on social media – How to get set up correctly and launch a brand online

Scenario: Luke might be a beginner when it comes to social media marketing but he is certainly a very well experienced financial adviser, and he wanted to have this reflected on his social media presence too. He wanted to look credible and professional. 

 

He had no social media presence or experience, because most of his business was coming from the high street, existing customers, and introducers. 

 

Now he needed more leads and more brand awareness. 

 

Luke recognised how effective social media marketing had been for his competitors but he didn’t have a clue where to begin.

 

Challenge: Luke’s social media profiles were EMPTY! Whilst he had a profile online, he had ZERO content, zero strategy, no plan, and NO TIME. So we really did have to start from the beginning. 

 

Not to mention, Luke was managing a mortgage and wealth management business therefore he had very little time. 

 

Solution: We spent 1 hour per week slowly building up his profiles, content calendar, brainstorming content ideas, sorting out his media and graphics on hsi profiles. 

 

We even designed a new logo for him because we needed a better colour palette and a more modern design. 

 

We trained Luke on how to use the social media channels more effectively and how to take advantage of the algorithm especially on Instagram. 

 

We also gave him a LinkedIn content strategy for some of the more corporate clients he wanted to attract for the wealth management side of the business. 

 

Result: After all his social media channels were set up properly and we had buckets of content ideas ready, we booked a video filming day. 

 

In just ONE DAY, Luke managed to record with us 3 months worth of content! 

 

We even taught him how to use Instagram Reels for maximum exposure on Instagram. 

 

Luke now has an active social media profile with excellent content and lots of time back in his life. 

 

He enjoys regular walks with his dog and managed to take a holiday too with his partner.
