Scenario: Austyn has been dabbling in social media marketing for the first 4 years of his business. As a new broker he didn’t want to blow his budget on day one so he decided to test the waters and give social media a go by himself.
Challenge: he found himself spending HOURS designing posts, creating content, and posting content with no purpose and certainly very little return.
Just when he thought it was time to give up, he met me at an industry event and had been following me for 18 months online preaching about social media management, content marketing, and video content, so he called for a 1-2-1.
Solution: within the first 10 minutes of the meeting we quickly identified what was holding Austyn back all these years: Strategy, Branding, and CONFIDENCE.
Austyn was posting ANY generic content. It wasn’t on brand and it wasn’t specific. He wasn’t targeting his ideal customer effectively on social media and his social media channels were not optimised.
He was also missing out on a big opportunity: Video content!
That is because he didn’t have the CONFIDENCE to get on camera. He didn’t know how to record himself and what to say on camera. He certainly didn’t have the time to do it badly either so he needed to learn the proper way this time!
Result: We spent a whole day together to fast track his learning and progress.
On the day we went through: content strategy, social media profile MOT, content ideas, video training, and organic lead generation strategies.
We even managed to record some videos on the day! He got plenty of practice and not only did he walk away with a strategy, he walked away with content too!
Now Austyn is so confident he has been posting independently because he has the tools and skills to do so.
More importantly, he has the confidence!
He’s been so active and successful on social media using mainly Instagram, that he has been invited to speak on panel at the FSE Media event to talk about “how to use social media as a tool in your finance business”
